JuxtapositionIt is almost surreal. The monotonous, high-pitched drone of the tower. The neon glare of the screen. The inhumane curvature of her spine. The faint ticking from a far away clock reverberating through her mind as she pauses to detect the sounds of any human movement. The world is in slumber.Juxtaposition
She can recall several other occasions of this sort. It seems the early hours are often all hers to employ. Time to postulate; to produce; to perfect. Without distractions. Time is elusive for her.
I, on the other hand, need meticulous time planning. Eight hours allotted every night for physical and mental refreshment. I sit in di
ponderingGive and take. Think carefully and act spontaneously. Reminisce and forget. Speak out and shut up. Laugh and cry. Work and play.pondering
Life for her is about balance. Go too far in one extreme and you’ll lose the plot. That’s why she’s studying creative industries and law. Gotta keep that balance. To maintain some sort of sanity.
Taking the middle road keeps all her options open. You don’t wanna sell out on something wholeheartedly and end up missing out on something better. The only problem with not committing to one thing is she could never achieve the extraordinary.
